CBT for perfectionism

The Oxford Dictionary defines perfectionism as being "refusal to accept any standard short of perfection."

So doing everything to the stage of perfection is a good thing right? Research has began to uncover the draw backs of perfection, including the impact this can have upon a persons mood, energy and beliefs about themselves.

Emerging research has suggested that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can offer an alternative approach for people who's life is negatively impacted by perfectionism.
